Notice of 2010 Annual Homeowner's Meeting

MARYMOOR HILL HOMEOWNER’S ASSOCIATION NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING

The Annual Meeting of Members (the “Meeting”) of Marymoor Hill Homeowner’s Association (the “HOA”) will be held at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, February 8, 2010 at the Redmond Public Library located at 15990 NE 85th Street for the following purposes:
1. Review the financial statements of the HOA for the year ended 12/31/09;
2. Elect a director to the Board of the HOA in accordance with the By-Laws;
3. Adopt and approve the HOA 2010 budget;
4. Update report on delinquent homeowners and maintenance of property and liens placed;
5. Discuss HOA rule proposals regarding maintenance of homeowner’s property;
6. Transact any other business that may properly come before the Meeting.

Only homeowner’s of record at December 31, 2009, who are current on their payment of dues will be entitled to vote at the Meeting. If you cannot attend the meeting in person please return a proxy (mailing address is PO Box 712, Snoqualmie, WA 98065).

Proxies must be received by the HOA by 5:00 p.m. on February 6th, 2010.

2009 Driveway Social Schedule

The summer driveway socials have been going on for a number of years now. They are designed to give all of us opportunities to get together socially with the residents of Marymoor Hill, meet our new neighbors, get caught up on what’s been going on, and enjoy simple snacks.

The driveway social is the easiest format we have come up with to foster neighborhood interaction without being a burden or expense to our hosting homeowners. Our hosts simply provide a driveway for community members to gather and a table to hold snacks. Please bring a small snack to share and a beverage (a glass, can, or bottle) of your choosing for yourself. They run from 4:00PM to 6:00PM on a given Sunday in the summer.

So here’s our 2009 driveway social schedule:

Sunday, June 28, 4-6PM, hosted by Rick and Johanna McManus, 5052 164th CT NE

Sunday, July 26, 4-6PM, hosted by Jim and Carolyn Furlong, 5027 164th CT NE

Sunday, August 23, 4-6PM, hosted by Chuck and Mutsumi Metzler, 5005 162nd NE

Marymoor Hill is a Block Watch community. It is very important that we know our neighbors so we all can watch out for one another. These summer socials are prime and easy opportunities to get acquainted and caught up. All members are invited! We look forward to seeing everyone there!

MARYMOOR HILL HOMEOWNER’S ASSOCIATION NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING

5. Update and discussion of the Verizon project as well West Lake Sammamish Corridor Expansion project;
6. Transact any other business that may properly come before the Meeting.

The annual meeting will be held on a Wednesday in February, at the Redmond Library. A date will be determined once the remodel of the library is complete.

2008 Driveway Social Schedule

The summer driveway socials have been going on for a number of years now. They are designed to give all of us opportunities to get together socially with all the residents of Marymoor Hill, meet our neighbors, get caught up on what's been going on, and enjoy simple snacks.

Everyone who comes brings a small snack to share and a beverage (a glass, can, or bottle) of their choosing for themselves. They run from 4PM to 6PM on a given Sunday in the summer.

Sunday, June 22, 4-6PM, hosted by JJ and Sheila Richards, 5008 162nd CT NE. JJ and Sheila have three young daughters. JJ is a Homeowners Association board member.

Sunday, July 27th, 4-6PM, hosted by Phil and Hong Sodoma, 16359 NE 50th ST. Phil and Hong live on the main street through Marymoor Hill and probably can tell you stories about the traffic and other activity up and down "the hill".

Sunday, August 24, 4-6PM, hosted by Chuck and Mutsumi Metzler, 5005 162nd NE. Mutsumi works for a non-profit and has been to countries the rest of us likely have never visited.
